The pressure Hades exerts on Persephone’s thigh is kind of amazing, a first as far as sculpture was concerned. And…a first that hasn’t really ever been surpassed. Glad to see I’m not the only one who truly appreciates this art. probably one of the greatest sculptures I’ve ever seen. Wait this isn’t two actual people? That is magnificent. ugh it’s perfect and this is stone… dang….
